This has to be the most quietest off season so far in a while. We keep losing players but we have no links to signing anyone.. I’m not saying we need new faces in our starting 17 but a couple of depth/ upcoming junior signings would be handy.

We have signed Bryce Cartwright, Joseph Suuali, Liam Watts, Pearce, Bird, Takarangi & moved Manu to 5/8

Who have we lost ? If we have no room to pay depth players more money, or if we don't see them in our future because we have better options, then we have to let them go if they get better offers. The farmer is a perfect example of this. So is Flanno.

Yeah true mate idk guess im just bored ahaha maybe we can see a signing or two in the future but nothing substantial

I am sure the club are constantly working on improving the roster. Yes i agree it would be great to see some positive news. I think the rule changes put a lot more pressure on our Middles, re rotation and cover for injuries. I hope Fafita proves a success and a couple of the other youngsters we have. Having a team full of stars who get offered PLENTY to leave us, makes it bloody near impossible to keep them all.

If someone can point out an 80% goal kicker in the Roosters squad (who is ready for first grade) then I'll say good riddance to Kyle Flanagan. I can point out a lot of games the Roosters have lost by one and two points because they didn't have a recognised goal kicker.

Widdop in insta just posted a pic walking with his kids towards a building with the caption “you know ❤️” - very vague.

Any chance he means Roosters? Could be knights? Strange post with red and blue colours (missing white of course but you know) - maybe looking too much into it. Apparently rumours of him wanting to leave Warrington. Doubt he means Wakefield (wouldn’t brag about playing there) - only super league team with those colours

Farmer confirmed today as released to sign a two year deal at St George. Middle forward depth takes another hit and no full time goal kicker.
