God you'd want to live up to those expectations. Crazy pressure.

Here's the latest- from 2022 onwards although maybe a release could be arranged for 2021?.
I'm not sure why the Chooks would have to fork out 50k development fee though - maybe it could argued for this to be paid if released with 1 year to go on his Verms contract if this is normal practice but if he finished his contract with the Verms and moves to the Chooks for 2022 onwards there would be no fee payable as he would no longer be a Verm contracted player??
Is the development fee the norm in the NRL or just in this case?? mmm seems from what i could find the Verms can be paid this but it looks like they are wanting the maximum - 50k
Four Development Fee on NRL Contract 20% of playing fee to a maximum of $50,000

This saga is just the Latrell saga but Sualli is younger and is meant to be a once in a generation star. I hope for the best for him if he joins but im concerned about all these young stars 21 and under asking for the world in contract negotiations. I would understand if they were a superstar player considered as one of the best in the game but why at a young age when you're not fully developed. I guess its another case of too many cooks in the kitchen trying to maximise money at a young age.

I don't care what his background is at smashing under 16's, he needs to show and prove his worth with the big boys to get the same spoils.
Everyone needs to earn their place in the team, the respect and the money.FVCK CANCER
