He would need a few years( 2 or so ) in under 20's and the reggies to be NRL ready - i get the feeling his team are dragging things out to increase his value - Wests Tigers are in the mix as well as Verms/Chooks/Rugby - the highest bidder wins i suggest -
There is a reason for everything and it has nothing to do with what you are saying.
No he won't, if he is good enough and honestly I have never seen him play, then he could step in. I remember Jamie Lyon playing first grade at 17 and killing it, Freddy the same. I think if he signs, he will be mainly used as a backup in 2021 with the view to starting in 2022.
Never seen him play though and you have him playing NRL in 2021 as a backup then full time in 2022?.
I know the Rolling Stones were signed by Dick Rowe(Decca Records A&R) on George Harrison's Recommendation after seeing then live only once (he earlier had turned down the Beatles) but they did have the runs on the board and were not a risky signing as this player is as will he be 100% committed or using the period to get more money elsewhere.
Chooks have some good youngsters in the junior reps sides they should be sticking with and developing instead

True, but from every report written on this kid nearly 99% of them they have said when they've witnessed him play he moves like izzy and gi. He is a genetic freak and at only 17 already towers over FG players. Too good of a chance to pass up IMO
Yep. Souffs' issue if they don't wanna release him to us.
They can pay his salary for another 12 months while knowing he's gone in 2022 if they like.
Typical Wayne Bennett!!! Goes all out to sign lotsa backs, realises there's no cash left in the kitty and then has to force out 1/2 the players he payed overs to sign so that he can retain players.
Add to this a bargaining principle that they'll release a guy who wants out early... but not to us (what did we do? Last time I checked we released Latrell early + paid hin ~3 months salary while he negotiated with Souffs). What a farce! Any lawyer will tell you not to do business with somebody who's playing hardball just to prove a point. No point doing any business with Souffs - they're a bunch of mugs. Ride it out... 'Trell's gonna be unavailable for the first half of the season, nobody needs to pay Roberts' salary (other than Souffs) and this dude doesn't need Souffs' permission to negotiate his own future.

Moga was going to be the next big thing too but several ACL's curtailed that- too much of this they play like xyz wht not they play like whatever their name is - it's a bit like Cricket anyone that bowls leg spin is the next Warnie - only one Warnie or fast bowler the next DK Lillee - only one Lillee

Well because they are using them as comparisons?? Similar build/ frame? Anyways... who knows about moga maybe if those ACLs didnt get him he could of been a much better player? Who knows what will happen with JS i cant see him fitting in our team atm

Souffs won't make the 8 next season IMO.
Of course they'll make the 8, 1 million percent & so will the Titans.
I just have an uneasy feeling that this guy will come, show promise, crack first grade, but then not hang around to long and eventually move over to union !

We surely would be well aware of that possibility and those clauses he wanted with the souffs deal. I just hope we arent signing him for the sake of it.
