I think it has more to do with the cap than anything else- 3 halves on the books -one too many - all this link up with his dad etc is pure speculation at best. Robbo will need to have a plan though as they will miss his goal kicking unless there is someone as good to take over this role - need to turn 4 into 6 consistantly

They are under cap pressure so this is not speculation - players have to take pay cuts if they intend to stay for instance. - the CAP for 2021 hasn't been determined as yet.

It could be down from 9.9 to 8.9 mill so any cuts may mean across the board cuts and going forward for any extensions and upgrades as well as players being released and replaced with cheaper players internally which affects depth as far as NRL experience goes.

You have no proof at all that getting rid Flanagan is due to salary cap pressures. For all we know Robbo may think we don't lose much with Lam instead of Flanagan, and that $280k would be better spent on a new signing. It is all speculation.
