I think he is just too damaged. That is the reason for his lack of stability imo.

Roberts is a jerk, a total loser who can run fast. Having him at a club only lowers the bar as far as what is acceptable. He has stuffed up at 4 clubs and got the boot, Souths, Penrith, Titans, Broncos, and now Souths again. He has been in REHAB 3 times in the last 6 years, most recently May 2020. Souths dont want him, but you suggest we should pay him the same as one of the Morris boys. It will NOT HAPPEN.

Interesting you mention about improving our indigenous profile. The roosters do a lot more than anyone else but just don't grandstand it.
The education programs the roosters are involved with do alot more than any of Souths empty talk.

i heard a rumour about latrell getting offside with the club when he wanted them to put a large amount of money into an ingenious program that he chose, they said no because they are already involved in a few different ones.

Even the media hammered us for not having one of our players ever win some award/medal for helping the community.

is there a reason the club does not really promote who they help with indigenous and other community programs?

Interesting discussion point though. The way I see it:
- We will eventually need a centre to replace Morris. Before going any further, I hope that centre is Billy Smith as he's taller, younger and has far less baggage.
- If he's gonna come here on minimum wage (or similar) and has the right attitude, he could be a decent value buy.
- Drongos and Souffs are scum that focus on hiding problems rather than fixing them. We could grab him for 12 months (as a backup for Morris/Smith/Manu/Toops...etc), try our best to fit him in with our culture and sack him pretty quickly if he's a d!ck.
- It could help us build a better reputation with indigenous players (and also bust the myth that Souffs is the indigenous friendly club).
- Guessing he's damaged goods but meh. Thought I'd raise it in the off-season spirit of creating threads about every player that's on the market (or not).

Sorry does not pass the no d$@k heads culture Test for us. Complete Buffoon.
