benji should return to the goldie and help develop some juniors at the titts. he is an ex KEEBRO PARK player and he may save some youngsters being shelved in the drongos pathways development process. a pathway to nowhere. the titts are his perfect fit.1911 1912 1913 1923 1935 1936 1937 1940 1945 1974 1975 2002 2013 2018 2019 2020

Dean Whare may be worth a look at as a back up outside back.

I see merit in this if it’s to transition the younger guys (Walker/Lam) with less pressure!
i would see it as part of a long term plan where we won’t have to sign a player beyond a year.
Benji would be humble enough to play a support roll to the club to fill in where needed!
Possibly a great move IF True!!

I cannot see it happening, but I can think of worse signings, particularly for the very short term. He could get us over a tricky bump in the halves next year. He would be a positive influence and would not break the bank. More upside than downside in my view.MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Positives:
- An exceptional bloke & personality
- Solves the goalkicking issue
- A mature head to provide extra guidance for Walker & Lam (alongside Cronk)
Negatives:
- Past his best in attack
- Defence very suspect
But then we create major congestion in the starting lineup.
Verrills has to be the man on the bench, so there ain't any room for any further bench utility players.
Marshall can't start with Keary, as that would mean neither Lam or Walker would see game time unless there is injury.
I see the benefits if he is very cheap and starts the season in reserve grade..... but can't see it happening at all. It doesn't add up.
