Was such a devastating loss to so many on here... must be securing all those tight games for the Dogs?
Even Teddy will kick more goals that Flanno this year.

Is too slow for modern day footy.

Flanno may be part of the problem, but be realistic here. The bulldogs of late have never been known for their attacking prowess

Wasn't this the year that the dogs promised big things? That they were supposed to have finally cleaned up their cap issues

240mins without a point. Such goes to show that there's always someone worse off than you.

I said last year when there was alot of anger directed at the Roosters, we at least made sure he had a better chance of playing first grade elsewhere and la onger term contract. The frustration i saw was simply he was going to a club with no real potential of winning a comp and no stars around him to make him look half decent. Well we know now he is not a first grader and i cant wait for the media and especially Andrew Johns to admit the Roosters were right in letting him go despite this learning crap and a young player needing development.

He is really copping it in the Kennell forum tonight. They made up a new topic for him called - Flanno is a Fraud

            Some comments below,

He has no running game, any young half is going to struggle massively when they don't have one.

Nah bro, he is shit. Only looked good because he had superstars in every position around him.

If he was good, he still would be a rooster and not a Chihuahua.

If he wasn't a goal kicker, nobody would notice him.

He is exposed and we are ****ed.

Burton will save his arse next year like Keary did with him.

Burton showed more vision playing out in the centre position last night.
Flanno, step up mate & take over the game.....PLEASE

Avo and lewis in the halves... Flano to reggie's to work on his games.. he just can't cope with the speed of first grade...

This is what happens when your dad is/was an NRL coach.

He’s been found out to be a dud.

FMD I'd even give Wakeham a go before the fraud.

Anyone mentioning Avo in the halves has had a blindfold on watching the first 3 rounds.

Flanno is a sitting duck with Lewis out of the game, hasn’t helped his cause. Although he’s been average at best after a good showing in Round 1.

Calling Andrew Johns, all Roosters fans deserve an apology for once again calling out the wrong opinion!!!

Dogs smashed some Souths players in tackles, including Arrow.
3 of them got hold of Gagai and dumped him.
They tackled like we should've last week.
Dogs were going ok until they lost the ball.

As bad as he is, at the moment, we haven’t found anyone better to partner keary yet, here’s hoping walker is the one. Let’s not pretend lam has done anything more than flanno had.

burton,ado-carr and Brandon smith may give the dogs some hope of scoring points next year.

And yet they still got flogged. Shows how bad they are. It’s only Round 4 and there’s already a divide between the top and bottom teams. Two floggings in the first two games of the round, and this is the great open fast rugba league everyone wants eh? Nah glad I skipped the vermin game BB.

Flanno is coached by the worst coach in the NRL & he is playing along side not one guy that would even make the Roosters bench. He went good at the Chooks who have top players in the team.

                    • At least criticising Flanno gives Lam a rest I suppose - The NRL has a problem going forward if this gap between the top 8 and bottom 8 widens though

The fact he has no running game will come back to bite him unfortunately, especially at a Club with no attacking game!

Might be closer to top 6 and bottom 12.

                            Agreed.

TBH it's worrying that the game is turning into one where the team with more legs wins by 50+ and - significant portion of decent players are out with indefinite/season-ending injuries.

IMO there's also more scope for rubbish reffing to determine the result. If you ping one team more than the other then they'll lose their legs and be rubbed out. It's getting tiring seeing this happen every week. Moat results are cricket scores!

Was thinking the same thing watching Pappenhuysen tonight. How many clubs passed him over? Sharkies? Wests? He was a reserve grade winger and third choice full back at Melbourne then he got the chance with great attacking side and with the Munster to run off. Found the pathway that his talents suited. Otherwise he disappears unheard of.

Munster is great to watch too, the guy just has so much time, and as tough to tackle as Tedesco, plenty of character in him too.
