He has the potential to be a top 10 player in the comp whilst Sitili will never be a top 10 player in the team.
I don't know if I'd go that harsh, but certainly Angus is miles above Sitili. Until Sitili improves his defence he will be average in my view. Angus however is a complete player with a huge tackle busting ability, offloading ability and very solid defensively. Absolute beast

I think the club will be waiting for the cap to be announced next season before they will be making any decisions.

I certainly concur that Angus is a very important player for us, and must be treated as a higher prority than at least several others, including all of those listed in this thread.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

We also need to protect those extra special players that love and want to be loyal to our club, as those attributes yield additional, non-monetary benefits that should not be dismissed or discounted.

I thought it was an unusual misstep by Robbo to start Aubbo ahead of him in the final against Canberra and once again Angus was our most damaging forward, despite playing 50 minutes. If he started and played close to 80 minutes, I believe we probably win the game.
It's even more puzzling as to why Robbo took him off. He and SBW were the only ones that looked like keeping us in the game.

On most current form, Angus is the first name on the team sheet.
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

The only reason I see him leave for is a huge offer from a rival desperate club which we can’t match.

What has become apparent in this thread is that Trent has lost the knack of coaching and is moving back to his old Brian Smith ways with questionable decisions in semi final football
                    ..it’ll be interesting to see

I highly doubt Angus goes anywhere to be honest, he will stay a Rooster!

Maybe retire Cordner at the end of next season. Problems solved

Time to medically retire Boyd. And Jake while we're at it.
