Did Wighton just have a bad night? or did he get found out by a Queensland coach that actually knows how to coach?

I'd go with Keary at half and Walker at 5/8.

Yiou're giving Bennett too much credit, he actually wanted to play Gagai on the wing but injuries forced his hand. Wighton is normally a strong defender so I would put it down to a bad night.

Keary wasn’t poor most of the year he was poor post the Canberra game that he got bashed in. I love Keary but I don’t think his form warrants him to be first choice 5/8 but I understand why he is there & thats because Cords, Keary & Toups all play that side with the Chooks with Teddy chiming in. Would of been interesting who would have played left center if Latrell was fit.
Cords is a footy head & plays with 100% heart which coaches love so he will be around in SOO till he retires.

I love our Luke but Whiten is ten times the player Keary is.

            Johns is right.

Johns is a space cadet, such a big difference between him and his brother.
But I agree about Keary should be dropped along with Cleary and Gutho.
It seems Freddy picks a lot of mates, so many players playing out of position doesn't work.

And you're wrong. He is calling for Walker to come in for Keary, not Wighton. Nathan Cleary is like a deer in headlights in big games and goes missing. Besides, anything that Johns says these days is crap anyway.

Wighton isn't fit to tie Luke's bootlaces as a player.

But I admit he is taller.

Serious? You can’t be! 10 times better? So as a coach and you had a choice to sign up Keary or Wighton you’d pick the latter over a 3 time premiership winner? I’m flabbergasted.

Ok ten times maybe an exaggeration.

But dead serious. Wighton is a better all round player. He’s more of a threat close to the line. He’s a bigger body and very hard to stop.

I would always pick Keary over Wighton. Better character and better for club culture.

There have been many great players to never win a competition. Just cause Keary has won 3 doesn’t make him better than Wighton. Just happier than Wighton.

I wouldn’t expect anyone to agree with me on a Roosters forum and I’m pretty glad about that.

I agree with that comment for SOO where the opposition is bigger across the park, and the refs tends to turn the game into a bash up derby. I don't agree with it for the NRL where Keary has more room to move.

Cleary and keary dont mix well imo they both play the same role for their teams so not suprising to see a lack of creativity last night. I would bring in walker for cleary or even wighton to 6 and play lomax at 3.

Cleary is the biggest myth in the game .
if he is NSW future leader we are in trouble
