You were always much more grounded than your brother and I like you better but don't tell him I said that as he's been a bit tetchy lately..

I would have bought the Cronulla hooker 3 years ago...the good Brailey...to replace Jake F
I would have bought Payne Haas to replace JWH
I would have bought a top bloke to replace Aubo.

you can take your pick wit the rest of the squad but we need help soon.
Trent tru heaps of $$$$$ at Payne. but sadly for his career and our club he is stuck at the drongos. He had a responsibility to his now passed brother and to top it off his dad is his manager. Keep him close to the rest of his family. Payne was sold a lie that skeletor was the best coach and now he has gone to the laughing stock.

          Shame.

He'd be the buy of the decade if we could snag him. He'll be the best prop in the game within 3 years, make no mistake.

Statistically you could argue he is almost there already. Immense in a team full of losers.

Payne Hass will be better than JWH, Klemmer or Papalli ever were by the time his career is over IMO.

Haas would have been a good buy.

Obviously the cap is biting as our depth is thinning out.

If that is the case then players like Cordner and Friend should be getting a tap on the shoulder very soon. One may be forced to retire the other is becoming yesterday's hero.

The Morris brothers have been great value, especially Brett. However they will more than likely miss a chunk of next season with niggling injuries.

Players like Smith and Ikuvalu will not put fear into the opposition. I'd still like to see Nick having a secret coffee with Latrell asking him to come home and become a club legend. We miss his game breaking ability.

Your not to mention his name on here or otherwise you will be declared a Souths supporter like
                I have been.
                Latrell, Latrell, Latrell.
I would love Latrell back at the Chooks. I don’t think the Chooks will win another comp whilst Latrell plays in the NRL for another club. I also don’t think Latrell will win another comp in the NRL playing for another club. Time will tell.

I tend to disagree Maxy. I think that you may find that the saner group among us take an interest in all things League and many value (though certainly do not love) the Bunnies for the entertainment they provide such as those memorable duels between Sammy Burgess and the youngun Dylan Napper who aways seemed to keep his best and biggest hits for the Pride.
I'd reckon that most here would regard Sam B as a mighty force of nature in the game and as one of us in a more general sense. Only the narks among us would take the side of the lyin' squatocracy jerk (Gina's front man) who never would have wanted him as a son in law on social class grounds alone. Why believe anything that he and his media mates had to say?
Of course '08, coming from Walgett or wherever, would always back the squatter class who do nowt from country scrubbers but everything for mining and Cotton multinationals. I'd like him to tell us how he's benefitted from his years of mindless support for those National fcuk ups. At least Sammy boy has entertained him.

Yeah whatever mate all your posts are either about souths or politics. Any genuine easts fan would:

                      1. Know how to spell Napa
                      2. Not refer to Souths as the Pride (lol)
                      3. Not crap on endlessly about Burgess and his in laws

So run along back to the burrow where your mates such as JohnnySekret are waiting for you. I suspect you know him very well.

Don't forget to mention the 'who's she' when Ricky Martin was mentioned..he only performed at one of our greatest grand finals..A real Chooks fan remembers that sort of stuff..

One day the poster may be an older man and feel intimidated by a younger stronger and much bigger man and see how he feels. Parents get fatigued when worrying constantly about their children and grand children and Phoebe's Dad has every right to feel what he did that day. Shock comes into play here too I am sure. What he did in the political arena should mean nothing and is not relevant to the incident in question.

Nah no way Woolloomooloo PCYC Golden Gloves 1970 here. And it's "Phoebe" now is it? You know her or sumfink? Upper class girlie playin' with fireman Sam - The Dewsbury Tornado. Was never gonna work really, deep down they hate us. We're employees with wages likely to get ripped off, we're cannon fodder easily bought off with medals and Anzac rubbish, we're injured workers cheated out of workers' comp. We're mugs and suckers, too, for letting them do that to us. Phoebe's learned to lie from a professional don't you worry 'bout that.
My bad - I noticed the misspell of Napa but the "post" was already gone - still quick as ever with the right hand.

Look up the word "facetious" Laz (has every vowel in the alphabet in order).
But back to the tread (who starts these wild goose chases (with the accent on "goose") I'm inclined to feel optimistic. I don't think it will be another 2011 scenario (Was that a Spoon year?). The nucleus is sound and Trent's come up with some good 'uns in the past. Butcher has his best days in front of him - he shows great talent at times, Lyndsay, Tauks, Vittorio all solid as. The best Fullback who must motivate across the whole field with his can do style. Another playmaker to compliment Keary is a must, Vic does a good job there but someone like Benji with all the smarts?
