Apparently Souffs sent the wrong form into the NRL. Instead of a cancellation of contract form, the Vermin sent in a medical retirement form.
They did apologise for the error, apparently they'd got used to filling out that form so much lately, that they sent that one in from habit !

yeah but the funny thing was that the nrl had approved the medical retirement and had to cancel their reimbursement.

I don’t even know if Suaalii will be in the top 28 players next year unless the NRL give the Roosters an exemption. So if he is not in the top 28 then I would think what ever transfer the Chooks pay would not be included in the sombrero.
