Two matches to prepare. It's better than playing them first round.

Would love to see the Chooks play at least 5 Sunday arvo games.
I agree with this. If you are good enough to win the premiership it doesn't matter who you play. In terms of the draw I think scheduling and traveling are the real issues.

*I think SCG games are TBC until Swan's release their draw. I'm guessing any relocated games will go to North Sydney Oval or Central Coast Stadium (which already has one designated game in round 5)

-The Raider's Perth game is back on
-One of our home games is the Magic Round game v Cowboys in Brisbane
-Looks our game against 'contenders' (from this year anyway) are fairly spread out
-Out of Sydney games included Central Coast, Townsville, Newcastle, Canberra, Brisbane x2, Gold coast, Melbourne
-Tough finish with Rabbits followed by Raiders away to end the regular season

Too soon for next year but v'landys is talking about creating mini-bankwest stadiums that can hold 20 000. maybe the state govt wants our new stadium to be bigger so that it can hold other events but i'd love for our new stadium to be that size. what a great atmosphere it would create. you could use the scg for the anzac day games.

Shame they abandoned the LED curtain idea for our new SFS which would have helped create that atmosphere for us - although I think they can add it in the future maybe? Not sure if the technology exists yet - I think they were talking crap when they suggested it as a feature when wanting support.

The new 'mini bankwests' due for upgrades are said to be Kogarah, Brookvale, Penrith and a new stadium at Liverpool

The round 1 clash against Manly was also * and that would probably be to do with the end of the cricket season, Round 16, 19, 20,21 and 24 definately at the mercy of the AFL draw.

                          Also in an injury update:

-Billy Smith is due for full contact in Feb and should be available for round 1 if required
-Verrills and Radley will progress their recovery throughout the pre-season, didn't say if they will be available by round 1 but I'm assuming they could miss the first month or so
-Fletcher Baker will take part in his first unrestricted pre-season after his ACL injury last off-season

Some of the squad will return on Nov 30 for pre-season

20,000 is too small for a city stadium. Not enough good seats along the sides for the fans.. The chookpen in old Allianz was good size, so too was the area for season ticket holders.
Who wants to sit at the corners and at the ends.
20,000 seats along the sides is ideal. SCG is bad view for watching NRL.
