But yeh A, in other sports I can see the appeal of winning say a world cup over a premiership but rep footy in league is at a pretty poor standard. Even Origin has started to drop off the last few years.
The only origin will improve is to let the villagers free on each other.

Its terrible how the toughest sport in the worlds showpiece is played like a pillow fight these days. Until they allow it to be stand alone event without repercussions to club footy, no one is going to play it up to its potential.

        Winning a premiership.

If not, being chosen for Kangaroos then SOO. Wouldn't mind being the Dally M player of the year either.

I would rather win a comp with the Roosters.

the qld players voted jake their player's player. doubt jake would swap any of his premierships for his chance at soo but you've got to be happy that he finally got his chance at soo and did so well.

                    I'd take A.

IMO nobody will remember who won Origin (I vaguely remember QLD's won a lot more than NSW) and it's easier to win a few because there's only two teams and it's just an over-hyped exhibition. Internationals? Meh... if it was Yawnion and you got a place in the All Blacks, that would trump all. League? Meh. Again... nobody cares.

I reckon players are similar too. I hate tats + there's lotsa players who seem to only have 1... 'PREMIERSHIP - YEAR'. I don't see anybody keeping tally of how many Origins and/or World Cups they've won.
