  • 6 & 7 for 2021

We all agree Keary will be either 6 or 7 so what will be the combination & who will be in the halves for Rd 1?
No matter how many good players you have you need a number 7 who can lead the team around. Cronk is irreplaceable
Ive got no idea to what the combination should be but if I had to pick I would have 6 Keary 7 Lam..

I’m sure Robbo will make the right call when needed.

I agree but Robbo asked me about this situation today & I said to him that I will take it to the pen & see what different penners have to say & then get back in contact with him.

I think Lam and Keary. But no doubt there is a 'transition plan' for Walker to become our very own Cleary type organiser.

Lam probably assumes a super sub role then.

Goal kicking may be a factor on who gets picked.

When Kyle got dropped for those couple of games and Lam replaced him, we looked really clunky in attack. If Robbo turns around to Lam in the off-season and tells him that he is going to be number one choice, then with a lot of work, I suppose it will look a bit better. I have to be honest and say I don't see what all the wraps regarding Lam are. He looks like he needs to trim down a bit as well. If Walker is the kid what everyone is talking about, then I kind of think we shouldn't wait too long to play him. It's the NRL...sink or swim!

yep I sorta want to see this walker kid play. I've heard so much about him, how he is as good as everyone is saying. throw him in, see what happens I guess ...I doubt well have another 2016 as we have quality in other positions, teddy, manu , keary, rads, cords to return , sst and jwh off a proper break. jake with Sam to return. Gus as well , roster is quality , moz bros , but yep throw the kid see what happens , if he fails put lam in.

We need an organiser. Unfortunately we don’t have one.
Could Keary shift to organising full time? It might reduce the likelihood of head injuries (or make him a bigger target).
With Rads and Keary moving the ball around we could also carry a young player.

Really think it will be Luke at 7 and Keigran or whatever his name is from the warriors Like Lam but think we need a goal kicker

I like it TLR, at least to start with anyway.

Lam is an option, of course, but Keighran can goal kick - that should not be discounted. Let's see how things go.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

interested to see Manu in #6, he can potentially be as good as Wighton. Jmoz & B Smith can cover centres

Not a bad idea- he needs to get the ball in his hands more. He has been super impressive when he filled in for Teddy at fullback.

It will be interesting to see how Sam Walker has filled out physically. I hope he is ready....im ready to see that sidestep!!

robbo likes to reward people who put in at training so it's probably not decided yet. you'd figure it's between lam and keighran with walker a chance after he's played a bit of footy at the bears.

IMO Keary at #7 and Keighran at #6.
Lam jnr hasn't really impressed me. He isn't half as good as his old man was
