Footy does not work like that my friend, JS is on a big contract - too big for Reggies and with this being his last year with us unless he takes PO we will be giving him what he wants and that’s FG.

Momo can get that Souths spot for sure and be a walk in starter, for us he might have to fight for his spot. Which would you choose?

Where are you hearing it from that Momirovski is on the outer at Penrith & that Easts & Souths are after him?

He might be too big for reserves, but in the matches I saw him play in reserves, he did not dominate the way that he was built up too, no doubt he will make it, but he has a while to go.

He is barely 18, doubt Robbo will rely on him solely to play every first grade match next season without a solid backup option or two.

I doubt Momirovski would be coming if he is to play for Norths with the option of securing a first grade spot elsewhere.
I'd say more based on the fact that Smith is made of glass & can never get on the field.JS isnt proven & along with Hooker our far weakest & most vulnerable position.

Well this thread is fun ... The talk about Momirovski is to cover Billy Smith/Adam Keighran. Adam Keighran is most-likely to drop down and play for Norths and well Billy Smith is basically one play away from another 6+ weeks sideline stint again (as sad as it may sound).

Not a bad option to consider since we have lost a few backs this season and he can kick goals as well !

Momo is not a back up option though. My point is you expect us to sign a 500K back and use him as depth for another big contract player. That would be disastrous. Souths and a few other clubs notably the tigers perhaps can throw this guy some decent coin and a starting spot whereas with our deal he would have to fight for it unless he starts wirh B Smith in Reggies which again does not make sense to me because he is a FG and could demand such.

He just won a comp playing on an edge quite possibly one of the most underrated defensive centres out there with the goal kicking ability and you want us to sign him for back up? Definitely need a sombrero for that

Suali will be the 2nd best centre in the comp by 2023

Maybe the word "cover" wasn't correct, what I meant to say is that he would probably be put into the backline as the "preferred starting left centre". I only said "cover" meaning that up until now that left centre position was filled by Keighran/Smith.

I should have used the word "replace" !

Hope you are right that would make him 20 years old in 2023,mabye a bit early but from what i saw this year after being thrown in the deep end he is going to be a very very good center. He was solid in defense this year imo when he grows into a man, learns his trade and starts to use that power and speed he will be an awesome player for easts I'm really looking forward to watching him running off keary and walker next season I have to remind myself that he has just turned 18 no wonder every club wanted him

He will solve alot of problems if he can nail down a starting spot next year , after all the bad luck this year we are due for a change of fortunes

It would be a massive shame for the club if Joseph steps up next season and looks like he’s ready to explode into a star by the end but leaves us without taking his PO. That would be a huge blow. Here’s hoping he stays on.

Obviously if he does come back he isn't coming back to play reggies although according to vermin supporters they are more than confident of signing him - is a right centre - coincidence in allegedly being interested in him a right centre not sure
