  • Merry Xmas

With the off season in full swing and not much footy happening, I wish you all a merry Xmas and a happy new year. May 2021 be a better year for all of us, and we continue to enjoy good health and good times watching our beloved coqs marching towards a third premiership in 4 years. If Richmond can do , no reason why we can’t.
    Go Easts.

merry Xmas all , I'm sure we've all had our disagreements at times. but we are all here for one United reason , the mighty sydney roosters. the only nrl team to play every season , fear not my roosters loving friends, we follow the right team .

I'm sure Nick p is sitting down on the 25 th of December, thinking of which big move to make , be it k ponga, k staggs or anybody else.

merry Xmas all , be safe , be well and always support the roosters.

    premiers 2021.

Unforch, we're not going to have a great Xmas. I'm loathe to go down this path but since Scomo, Murdoch and Glady has politicised the pandemic for all it's worth during the year, it seems derelict not to take the opportunity up, Xmas notwithstanding. Seems like NSW is not the "Gold Standard" after all - egregious laxity in controlling the movements of American air crew has brought this on and since the US is clearly a Covid basket case, our Xmas disaster was more than reasonably foreseeable.
After the laughable "love rat" stuff I don't expect to hear/see any "Dictator Dan" (Gaultier Gladys?) derision because our monopoly media referees one side only and Chookies know what that feels like but this is down to Glad and Co. and it's not their only cock up - Ruby Princess and Nursing homes and "no need to wear masks" are all a background to Scumo's "Gold Standard".
My hope is that you all have the best Chrissie possible in the circumstances.

Likewise, merry christmas to all and well done on making it through this bloody year!

            As an upshot:
            - We're building a brand new beach house after the fires (architecturally designed...etc) to replace our old fibro shack. All the asbestos is gone from the house + area too.
            - Tradies are around today putting a lovely new bedroom on our house + doing up our sunroom with the $$$ we saved working from home and not travelling.
            - Got to work from home all day and see more of my wife as she's doing it too. Great stuff for our family...
            - Work gave me lots of awesome opportunities during the bushfires and COVID. Stressful but very rewarding, everybody was cool about it and I pocketed some decent OT out of it.
            - Easts poached Suaalii. Farking gold that we did it 12 months after losing Trell to their BS.
            - The dude across the road has sourced some 'medicinal' marijuana. I still get stuck talking to him for hours but he's super friendly now (a bit like the new, high-pitched Mike Tyson).

Don't forget to send us all a house warming invitation when safe to hold this and there is no limit on attendee numbers.

Hahaha 2021 I'll post an open invitation to the grand opening on here (can double as an end of COVID party). Will also see if Sonny, Robbo, Nick, Cronk, Radley, Cords, Friendie and Teddy can come along as special guests. We'll put on a massive seafood platter, have an open bar and well... who knows what else?

I wish my fellow legitimate Chookpenners and passionate one eyed Chookies supporters a very Merry Christmas, and a happy, safe and prosperous New Year.

2021 has to be better, in more ways than one, surely.

Hats off to Easts - next year's NRL premiers!

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
