I have always thought that Pearce was a lock forward or hooker, never a halfback, plenty of guts, but no brains. Could still have something to offer if he was able to understand that he is not a playmaker, not a leader, just a soldier. But I don't think that will happen.

i had a great one on one chat with pearcie when he was with us , just after doggiegate. He stared without blinking the whole time and yet was calm as. We didnt talk about media articles but more about his future ideas, favourite players goals etc. I like the guy but he needed help earlier in his career now is too late as they are habits.
Fair enough. I don't like Lockyer as a bloke, just think he was a very good half. Probably not quite on Cronk/Thurston/Johns/Fittler/Kenny level but very very good. Certainly a cut above the halves running around currently.

Haven't met him, but i've never felt Pearce was a shit bloke. Just a not very smart bloke.

Cheers mate. Remind him that he still owes me some dosh for those pills I sold him. No rush but it'd be good if he could hook me up in the new year.

Decisions have never been Pearce's strong suit.

If one needs to be made, he'll get it wrong.
