Souths are going to sign Mansour from what my Souths mate is telling me. Nofa will be staying at the Tigers.

I watched a Tigers ball session last Friday, I hope Momorovski gets first crack at 5/8.

I really think you know I meant choose one of the young blokes we have , say Lam and give him a go for a dozen or so games to settle in and prove himself, not chop and change because we loose a few game , as bad as that is we must let these blokes settle into the team not put enormous pressure on them to make no mistake so they don't play there natural game. I would like to see Lam or Kiergan , whatever his name is get first go because as much as many are convinced Walker is the survivor I'm not yet convinced he will be or that he's ready

When did we chop and change last year? From memory Flanagan had a good run at it, then Lam got his shot. Unfortunately for Lam he got injured and we went back to Flanagan.

He never mentioned last year, he is talking about 2021 & the new halve or 5/8, he's saying stick with them even if we lose a few games.

Agreed. IMO no matter how it's most likely to go, you wanna maintain a competitive environment where everybody has an opportunity to make the cut.

As an ex elite athlete I get that some people are naturally better than you no matter how hard you try. However, that doesn't mean they're exempt from having to earn their spot on a weekly basis (or that little wins from quality competitors at training won't push them to the next level).

Further, sometimes something just clicks with players from the b-team (so many examples... and that's when you win big time coz it pushes everybody to the next level). Can't remember the names but I was going through the WSJ today and saw a couple of stories about basketball players who weren't drafted, then went on to become top-shelf players (one's a skinny white bloke who got known as an ace 3 point shooter... the other worked his way up from 3rd division and is now asking for $100m a season or something crazy like that).

Easts are good at picking future talent... that extends to the b-team. Nick doesn't sign you if you've got no potential (I extend that to a bunch of wankaz like Carter, Cherro and Meehan...etc who coulda been something if they applied themselves properly... there's a long list of couldabeens).

Be great to see us doing that against Souffs and the Drizzle while putting big scores on them. Can see it already... coast to coast baby!!!

First tackle with 70m to run we get Bunji doing a 30m no look pass to Teddy... Teddy breaks the line... cut-out pass to Sitili... Sitili smoke all the remaining defenders aside from the FB. With Big Mac Latrell their last line of defence, Sitili does a risky no look pass to Bunji who does another (completely unecessary) 30m no look pass to Teddy... who puts on a few dance steps before grounding the ball under the posts for a try.

While walking back, JWH rubs 'Trell's hair and is like 'don't worry, you did you best old mate'. 'Trell throws a punch, is sent off and the Souffs fans start brawling like a bunch of bitter Trump supporters. Phone Chucker and Skeletor are seen hiding from Souffs fans in a barricaded room somewhere.
Stop it ism, you're getting me going

I just wrote a letter to Benji telling him to try soccer. No tackling required. And he can do his flick pass with his feet. Anyway it will give me even more incentive to watch that soccer show on Fox hosted by Cooper’s misses (on mute of course).

I heard tonight that the Roosters & Benji met over the last 2 days.
No confirmation about whether he signed or not, so we will just have to wait & see.

Sort of, a guy that works in the Roosters high performance's brother Trent told my mate Mick a mad Roosters supporter & he told me.
He also said that Sam Walker will be playing in the trial against Canberra.
                        Wait & see.

Is Dean Robinson still working at the Chooks or just a consultant - i know they gave him a consulting role back in 2017 with strict conditions from the NRL

I have a fear of it myself especially with his defence- certainly not i hope - what signal does that send to the other players vying to partner Keary in the halves - mmm we don't know if you will handle it so we are signing a backup if you don't.
