I do that every year and have not been disappointed except for 2014.

There's some real balance issues there.
Totally agree. Murray is v good, but not big enough to play second row. They r shorter up front than we are.

And are we really THAT short up front, or is it just another bizarre off season fallacy creeping in?

        JWH
        SST
        Collins

All there are elite props. And then we have...

        Liu
        Butcher
        David Fifita

Another International, a very good 1st grader in Butcher (despite his critics), and a very promising youngster in Fifita. Let's remember that no coach brings through young forwards better than Robbo, so young Fifita may well be primed to explode.

So who has a better prop rotation? The Storm perhaps with NAS, Welch, Bromwich... otherwise who has us beat?

I'd be very worried if I were Penrith, having lost both Tamou and Tetevano in one off season. That's very poor roster management right there and I see it as their demise in 2021.

So if we are short with that group, then I'd suggest that 13 or 14 other clubs are even shorter.

Tommy you make some valid points here.

Jarred missed quite a few games last year and this will
most likely happen again in his final years.

With Rads and Cords unlikely to be around for the first bit of the season I think Isaac will be playing lock and Butcher on an edge. So early in the season you can’t really count on them as prop rotation.

            Hope so.
Lami Tassi, Willis Meehan, Kane Evans, Martin Kennedy, Nelson Lomi, Mickey Paea & Andrew Lomu were all promising but were all duds.

Of those, Tasi and Lomu had good potential and ability...can't recall what happened specifically with their careers though.

I think both went to Super League - Tasi I think might have been even still playing two years ago.

Just googled he played for Warrington last year - amd is playing in the qld comp this year - surprisingly still only 30yrs old. He must have been very young when with us. He could have been something if he stayed around I reckon. Andrew Lomu was a really good prop rotation for 1 or 2 years for us - had some solid mongrel in him - then seemed to loose it and get lazy.

Thanks Lip...Lomu was one of my faves when he was playing, strong runner. I think Tasi arrived via Manly if memory serves correct.

I feel like Andrew Lomu gets a bad rap being in this group.

he was quite good for us

Scored 2 tries in 4 years for us. He was a very ordinary player who was blessed to play in a team of champions & a champion team.

So he was a try scoring machine compared to Hall

Ha...clutching at straws Mick. Not too many prop/2nd rowers are judged on tries scored.

And even Brendan Hall was quicker....
