If as the article says the chooks aren't that confident with the halves stocks then why did they punt Flanno - If they do sign Marshall it will show what a dumb decision in getting rid of a competent half and goal kicker in Flanno was. .

yep , i agree, keary aside, we seem to have a couple of second rate halves, who the club dont trust. looks like all eggs are in the s walker basket, whenever he is ready. my preference is if the kid is good enough, chuck him in instead of signing more second rate halves ( benji was great, and is an absolute ornament to the game, but his days are numbered, if not done altogether ) .

It’s a good signing if it happens, he and Keary being leaders for our young halves is invaluable.

Look what we did with the Morris boys at the end of their career too. It’s been a while since Benji was at club who was actually a shot at winning a title too, I reckon it’ll bring out the best of him.
