  • Did someone really say his defence was good ?
Bugger me it was shocking, so bad he made an art form out of not being involved in defence unless he absolutely had to. Ran out of the line so often leave huge holes
The Internet is a place for posting silly things

Sorry - I know this isn't Roosters related but I need to stand up for my profession. We are the way we are because of parents (I'm one of those too BTW). Every year I have parents whose sons lie, cheat, etc. Who goes into bat for their kids no matter the evidence stacked against them? It is a societal problem. Just like the debate about consent. When it comes down to it, a school can try to teach kids right from wrong but ultimately, they get their attitudes from their mates and parents.

Flanno defended as well or better than the majority of halves running around. I was impressed that he was solid against a lot of big boppas running at him, Can't understand why anyone has to get their rocks off bagging a young half.

I would understand if Kyle had left the club like an ahole, like you know your little friend Latrell did, but he didn’t. He was practically demoted with(according to the media) no possibility of redemption. I don’t know what went on there... but regardless we don’t have enough info why. Kyle wasn’t even here for 12 months.

As for his footy, well his defence wasn’t the best cause the opposition were targeting him all the time. In attack he was weak but we cannot forget that he was a scoring machine with a few tries but mostly from his kicks and if it wasn’t for the disaster in the last round, he would have been the Top scorer of 2020... Have people also forgotten that kick from the sideline at Suncorp against the Storm?

Kyle is a young 22 yo who seems like a bit of an introvert and having his meltdown in front of the media wouldn’t be doing him any good but I also think he’s a fighter and will get over this and once he has Burton next to him, he will recover.

I also think people forget that he was replacing the might Cooper Cronk, and that would never have happened in a generation... but for some miracle, we now have Sam Walker...

To me Kyle is nothing like his father. Flanno senior is loud and sometimes obnoxious. The apple sometimes doesn’t fall from the tree , you know!
