Nothing - i assume they are waiting to see how much they can offer him with several players retiring at the end of 2021 and some others maybe not retained after 2021. They need to be progressing things as there are a number of clubs circling - Tigers/Dogs/Manly/Dragons/Sharks for starters.
Not sure why the Aussie bowlers are not bowling yorkers - Stark hasn't swung the ball all series or bowled yorkers nor mopped up the tail something he is supposedly known for - India just took 20 runs from Starks latest over.
Lyon doesn't look like taking a wicket either. mmm he just takes one - Gill out for 91 caught Smith- India 2/132 - 196 to win with 8 wickets in hand- Pujara down with a fair whack on the hand/fingers from a Hazelwood delivery. -Time for the Magic Sponge- Crowd the batters Paine with close fielders and bowl some short stuff
Be a disastrous result if a drawn series as the Indians were down to having to play net bowlers in this 4th test.
I'm still eagerly waiting for a contract update for Angus. I can tell you from a social media standpoint he seems happy to be back training and still hanging out with all the boys outside of training - doubt he wants to leave the club, who can blame him though? Best club in the world!
If rumours are true and the club was willing to let him go at the end of the season but only recently have since backfilled on their decision then I imagine discussions would still be in the early stages. These things always take months not weeks.

Teddy are you any relation to former goats Lemon and Lime, both Chookpen legends?

At the end of the day it would be one of the all time best cock ups if the Roosters dont re-sign him.
I just cant see the Chooks letting him go unless another club offers him 900k upwards.
I think he is a must to keep...even if we pay a touch overs.
In saying that,if I was him I would look at Rugby. Walk up start for the Wallabies, more coin, easier on the body etc etc....fark i hope he stays though
I would like to know what is going on like the rest of us, but patience will hopefully be a virtue. No news is good news people!
MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
Contrary to some recent media reports, the Sydney Roosters were never in the race to sign Stephen Crichton with the NRL powerhouse banking on Billy Smith to become their next Latrell Mitchell.
Fighting his way back from the ACL injury that robbed him of his NRL chance last year, Smith has returned to full contact training and will be available for the Roosters’ season opener against the Sea Eagles on March 13.
The Roosters have however been talking to their own Crichton with the club set to offer backrower Angus a new deal.
Off-contract at the end of the year, Roosters coach Trent Robinson told Crichton he is part of the club’s future plan when the pair caught up to talk about a new deal.
The Roosters will have to fend off interest from the St George Illawarra with Dragons set to make a play.
