They are trying to sell papers and make up stories on unfounded rumours.
Agree with this and also think if Angus was go to sign with someone else it would already have happened. Think they are just working out the details

You have to ask yourself do we need to spend a fortune on a back rower which we have plenty of or save the moulah for a key position or even upgrades .I expect Angus to be re-signed but who know what they are cooking. He wouldn't go to St George they are worst club to go to at the moment .
Cap is down a bit etc you have to manage your roster very smartly.
For my money If I was Trent if I was gonna spend heaps on one player then I would go for Penriffs Chrighton ..gun player
I would even look at Katoni Stags down the track too...Manu is my best center etc..and he has been loyal to the bone and I want him to stay ..but you know he will get the itch to go home to NZ one day .
Smith I have high hopes for ..just how long it will take him to get back to been a strike center ???? .Definitely a good player in the making if he get fit and his confidence back on.

Do we have plenty of backrowers ?? Boyd's future hanging by a thread..Sitilis defense..Maubs retired...Butcher largely ineffective (just my opinion)

I think he is a star still on the up, he is worth every cent and is a must to retain. Also, sponsors cream their pants over this dude, good looking Rooster who does a lot of good things off the field

I say they spend the moulah on Angus Crighton the best edge backrower in the game because we dont have anyone better to replace him with where as in the centre position the Roosters may have the best 2 centres in the game coming through in Smith & Suaalii so no need for S Crighton.

Angus is not going anywhere. He will stay at the Roosters and will sign another deal when ready. Beyond that, maybe Rugby will entice him back. Time will tell.

You’d have to imagine this would b ballpark. If Cordner (which I think he may be) is on his way out this will not be a problem. I noticed Boyd has been running some personal training, so maybe he is planning for future life?
