MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

I agree. More generally, I would like to see the club highlight and boast about our long and fabulous history more as part of the match day experience. We are getting better at it, no doubt, but I think we can go even further. Facts and stats should be referred to a lot more IMO.

I woulda said Lindwall but there you go.
The "Fcuk Souths" suggestion is certainly not a goer since that record score in the final round. It says that you're hurtin' bad. Wrong move imo.
I do however like that old custom where if you won the minor premiership you could challenge the GF winners. It diminishes the fluke factor in the finals.

Seriously, it means SFA to us...a nothing club game that we were pretty half assed about and got what we deserved with a lopsided result.
What is very very funny though is many Souths fans now bring that one irrelevant scoreline up as a trophy moment, amidst our modern times dominance of the game and them, for all to see.

[QUOTE=Rooster1908; See that's why I block the bloke so I don't have to read his dribble , but then you go and quote him so I still do.
Yeah well...can't say I miss the Allan Jones' Climate change opinions or the Tele's bellicose propaganda angle on China. (Some old flip down the park said to me the other day, "They've sold the barley". Well whoopee do, that just leaves the coking coal, wine, seafood, meat, education etc etc...but I digress). I did, however, find a great deal of amusement in those patriotic declarations that 08 went in for big time - always delivered with the passion common in those too old to ever be put in harm's way. Add a disdain for education and that nauseating aspirational stuff and you gotta think no loss really.
