Anecdotally, bullying of girls by girls in school is at least as prevalent, if not far more so and to a much greater and crueler degree, than is the case with boys' behaviour.
However as if by magic, we are told that later on these same females when in adult relationships with men could never be guilty of bullying, cruelty or instigating family violence. Those acts all come from the males due to their inherent "toxic masculinity". Women are blameless. Suggesting otherwise makes you a misogynist.
Back to topic, yes why not have women coaches. Ruan Simms as mentioned is smart, has played the game and is an astute analyst as well as having superb people skills.
