I wish Fitzy would have said who the couple of other guys are that have been practicing their goal kicking with JT - Looks like SST will be 1st choice though- I Suppose a question i would have asked Fitzy is about 2022 since his hand shake deal ends in 2021.

Going on what Fitzy said it looks like they are hoping Keighran can take over Maubs's role.
They must have a weight in mind they want Sammy Walker before he will be playing FG. He's currently 79kg.
So now we know SST is the goal kicker.
I know a lot of the talk is around Suallii but I reckon the Chooks have very high hopes for Billy Smith, Fitzy said how he is aggressive which I love hearing about a young Rooster.

With RTS confirmed to be leaving the warriors that could be a red flag that Manu could be in their sights as a potential fullback replacement.

Manu has shown potential at fullback and will continue to fill in a bit there this season i'm sure.

He is contracted to us til the end of 2022, RTS is gone next year - could be very appealing for him to grab a full time fullback spot, earning more money and being back home in NZ. We won't be able to match fullback offer with what can offer Manu as a centre.

Warriors could wait a season for him or they could try and tempt him to leave a year early.

With the Morris twins almost a given to retire this season, a lot of work is needed to be done to develop Suaallii and Smith into replacement centres - I'm sure Robbo has one eye open for future season and will give them experience when he can.

Speaking of poaching danger - it seems like PVL is very keen to enter the second Brisbane team into the 2023 comp to please Channel 9.

Anyone else of note for us off-contract at the end of 2022? A new team will have money to splash out on a marquee player or two, as well as the need for some young talent (although they should get most of theirs from QLD you'd imagine).

Keary has already been mentioned previous due to his link to Ipswich (although he seems very settled in Sydney these days with his young family) - but I imagine queenslanders like Collins would be ideal for a new Brissie team, especially if he continues to develop in the next two years.

2023 is a possibility PVL is saying- be interesting to see if they will have the same cap though being a new team?- A decision will be made in June.- One figures there will be a second Brisbane team in 2023 - Wonder what the Bronco's will think in the possibly of having their market diluted?

Not sure if this will bump up the Broadcast and other medium rights price though? The more people turning to subscription TV/live streaming etc means less FTA viewers and lower advertisement revenue as what organisation will pay top dollar to have their adds shown to decreasing audiences plus there are other avenue's for advertisements other than FTA .

This will ultimately mean a reduction in what the rights can be sold for to any of the FTA networks for any sport not just NRL.

NRL will need to look at other revenue streams to keep the game in the black as will clubs.

I see Keary all the time. He seems to enjoy his life in Dover Heights. Can’t imagine he’d want to rush back to Ipswich.

Unfortunately I have missed this one. It is saying that it cannot be played. Does anyone know if it might be available from elsewhere? If no, not to matter. It is my fault for missing it!

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Just type “Talking with TK” into Spotify or probably most podcast apps and scroll through to the last interview with Fitzy.
