Mitchell's best years are behind him, he is 23 and he will not improve on his 2019 season. He does not have the work ethic or discipline to be anything other than a winger or centre. I can see his career ending within 3 years.
[QUOTE=The Brain;...He just needs the quick bucks to live the hillbilly life in Taree.

As much as he is an undoubted superstar with a, possible, glittering future there is always that pull of home and family as others here have recalled about Andrew Walker. He will keep on accumulating the kilos for sure and will probably eventually become a Middle if he survives the shotguns and the quad bikes. It is tragic that so many indigenous talents become cultural victims. What makes them happiest can also destroy them. More money isn't going to help that.
Yep all the above as well .
Walker was the most talented footy player i have ever seen ..not bad for someone that hardly turned up for training

I don’t think so. Bennett is too smart to not know that Latrell is no good for club culture. He’ll put up with him because he’s leaving Souths but The Fossil no doubt knows he’s a wanker.

Bargearse found guilty of intimidating/threatening ex father in law Mr. Hooke...got himself a 2 year good behaviour bond.

Wonder what this means for his employment and sponsorship situation etc...

              More lol@Souths.

A sad day IMO but not surprising since it came out of the Moss Vale circuit Local court. The over 55s are the majority down here and all those old Lib voting duffers are frightened of their own shadows (imagine feeling that you're old at 55?) and the mere thought of Dewsbury looming over them would cause apoplexy.
The travelling beak's sided with the local grandee that's how it works down here. He completely discounted the provocation of the orchestrated media campaign that began the night of the "incident". Being the old grumble and grunt that he is, ol' Mitch would have stared down plenty of stood down/retrenched/disgruntled workers in the past not to mention dudded contractors. He's a aggro kinda rich guy and a liar to boot. Dewsbury's future is now as uncertain as that rich jerk promised it would be and he needs to apply for a shift of venue for the appeal. He win it in the more worldly District Court.

I've seen a number of people say that in this forum, but I don't know how bad he personally would be for the club culture. Anyway, he ain't comin' back.

Looks like he's been stood down.

I don't understand. You can't ask for a much better indicator of club culture at Souffs than a criminal record.

Souffs wouldn’t even consider employing anyone without a criminal record minimum requirement, to go along with wife bashing, squirrel gripping, intimidation, dodgy doctors handing out false prescriptions, throwing telephones at people, drink driving GI, houzo haircuts........ Pride of the league Waffle waffle waffle.

The court decision may have been derived at as a result of him being found Guilty though based on the arguments and evidence provided by both the Prosecution and the Defence and the careful consideration of all this by the presiding Magistrate .- He will need a Rumpol type Defence Barrister to beat this if he does appeal

tbh the judge sounded like a bit of a dick taking sides in favour of the respected member of society v the rugby league bad boy

If that was cynicism then you just contradicted yourself . Respected member of society and a bad boy . Know which one I would believe . Bargass actually admitted he refused to leave ans i,m quite confident he is more than capable of intimidation

He's a grubby grub and poor role model no doubt...but one comment in the case from him stating that he didn't want to leave the children alone with their grandfather?? Puzzles me a bit.

That scenario seemingly led to the events in question.
