I never said all jews were criminals, but if I say those jews who benefit from state sanctioned illegal activities such as the illegal settlements, the illegal annexing of the Golan Heights, the illegal wall, their illegal occupation of Palestinian lands are criminals than I am factually correct according to international law, the Geneva Convention and 28 resolutions from the United Nations. But when I say that out loud I get the same response as I got from you that I'm a racist and stupid.

There is a contradiction in America of course - down South they do have a lot of Civil War Confederacy statues of their Generals and Politicians of the time and love to fly the Confederate flag - a lot equate these to slave ownership and the war being about the right to own slaves - more to that War than just one issue as the North were fighting mainly to preserve the Union after the 11 Southern States seceded from the Union and the Southern States were fighting for state rights.

A lot of the US founding fathers as they call them owned slaves - George Washington / John Hancock/ Thomas Jefferson for instance and other US presidents as well right up to the early 1850's - Zac Taylor

A majority of the signers of the Declaration of Independence and nearly half of the delegates to the Constitutional Convention owned slaves. Four of the first five presidents of the United States were slaveowners.

Thomas Jefferson the same man who wrote the very words “all men are created equal,” in the Declaration of Independence owned hundreds of slaves all his life.

When Washington died he freed all his slaves in his will so i suppose he may be forgiven nowadays somewhat?

There is still slavery today in different parts of the world -they call it debt bondage / forced labour/sweat shops etc.

I agree it would not have been nice to be on the receiving end of slavery however it was the norm in that time. Why should they be judged harshly today for doing nothing wrong in their time?

The issue that Israel has is that they are surrounded by countries who would love to finish off what the Nazi's tried to do in WW2. The 1967 and 1973 wars which Israel didn't start showed they wont be letting that happen.

Which is why I try and separate my criticism of Israel from any criticism of the wider jewish community. But that is made difficult when the wider jewish community openly support what Israel do.

I don't care how you spin it, Israel does not have the right to do what they do and that includes defending themselves if they are defending illegally taken and occupied land from those wars. The Geneva Convention specifically prohibits an invading force from occupying then converting taken land for a domestic population and purposes and that is exactly what Israel have done and continue to do with their illegal settlements.

The second I am on board with but like I said, at the time it was normal. Imagine in the future (200 years later) they say that rugby league was the game of the devil and anyone who played should be erased from history or their offspring should be accountable for their past actions. Doesn't make sense does it? IMO, the cancel culture has a lot to answer for. History is just that. Learn from it and move forward. You cant hide from it.

Lads, this is why this part of the world is such a boiling point. Soo much disputed territories and actions that its near impossible to fix. The only thing left to do is to argue and fight over it.
