Regardless if you think the Christian faith is kooky, a person shouldn't be cast into everlasting unemployment because of their faith.
Very selective and discriminatory....the dreaded cancel culture at it's worst.
On the footy side, would welcome him back, top player.
Seems a nicer bloke than Payne in the Haas...

Everlasting unemployment?! Thats a good way to put it. Surely the man has the right to ply his trade. Sadly he is poison to sponsors now.

It's not his faith that got him into trouble. It was his selective judgemental ramblings. You can't be covered in tattoos and pick and choose which parts of both the new and old testaments that suit your own personal agenda. Either follow the whole thing word for word or not at all.
It wasn't so long ago that gay people were shunned in all walks of life and murdered, bullied and beaten for it too..I've had colleagues back in the 1990's who would have black eyes and broken noses from being bashed on Oxford St and have had others we lost to suicide, simply because of their sexuality. It's like bloody Groundhog Day on here sometimes trying to educate some close minded people. Don't get me started on the race issue again from another thread as I can't be bothered anymore. I grew up in country Qld in the 1970's and was called the N word because I had one parent born in Lebanon. I was a 7 year old girl going home in tears but wasn't quite sure why or what I had done. But yes, let's continue to applaud Fox Classics...

A registered minister quoting from the Bible is no reason to cancel someone's career. I don't see the drunks, thieves, adulterers, abusers etc complaining, just the gays....because they think everyone should agree with their lifestyle..... and anyone who doesn't must be destroyed, here is a news flash buttercups, according to the religions of BILLIONS of people, your lifestyle is an abomination.

The surgery was tough but his scans are all clear at the moment so hopefully he is in the clear. With Folau one thing I was thinking was that there should be a path to redemption. The problem with him is that nothing has changed. Its not like he is a drunk, drug user, cheat, etc. Personally I find his views repulsive and I don't want to defend him. I just wonder what society has come to but I'm sure many of us are.
