Israel sees enemies everywhere and that's part of its' problem. When resolution 2334 was tabled in the UN by NZ it stated that Israel's settlement activity constitutes a "flagrant violation" of International Law and has "no legal validity". It demanded that Israel stop such activity and fulfill its obligations as an occupying power under the Fourth Geneva Convention. That corrupt piece of living human excrement Netanyahu, referred to it as a declaration of war even though it was largely symbolic as the resolution itself carried no sanctions.

So not even the UN can say a bad word about Israel without being attacked, imagine how it is for an ordinary person to try and criticise them. Israel firmly believe they are above the law and act accordingly.

NZ are out of harms way down here though not surrounded by unfriendly countries as Israel is - it wouldn't matter if they gave the land back etc - it would make no difference to those countries that surround them as they still don't recognise the Israeli state

New Zealand has a long history of support for Israel, and voted in favour of the 1947 UN partition resolution 181, which led to the creation of the State of Israel, despite heavy pressure from the United Kingdom on all Commonwealth nations to abstain on the resolution.

Resolution 181 was adopted by the UN General Assembly on November 29, 1947, with 33 countries voting in favor, 13 countries against, and with 10 countries abstaining. The large numbers who stayed in Israel became full citizens, with equal rights, while their brethren were kept by their Arab hosts in perpetual refugee status to serve as pawns in the political struggle against Israel.

Meanwhile, some 800,000 Jews were expelled from Arab countries, finding refuge and a new home in Israel.

At war's end, Egypt had control of the Gaza Strip and Jordan annexed the West Bank. Neither saw fit to establish a Palestinian state in the territory they were to control for 19 years until the Six Day War of 1967.

Israel was admitted to the United Nations as a full member on May 11, 1949, and has been a fully democratic country with equal rights for all its citizens from its inception until today.

Funny you say that. During high school I was bruefly with a super hot Sri Lankan lady. Really awesome face and body proportions is all I'll say.
