When Andrew Johns tips us to miss the 4, we are certainties to make it.
You just need to look at his past tips - at the beginning of 2019 and 2020 he was tipping the Broncos to win the premiership.

JWH and Flanagan were one and two, in the league when it came to conceding penalties last year..

Look at the penalty count ladder. Storm/Roosters/Panthers/Raiders are in the top 6 most penalised clubs. I will let you decide whether the best teams including the two grand finalists are too ill-disciplined for the new rules.

Would love to be wrong, but my gut feeling is the relative higher penalty counts for the top teams may be an indicator of the refs wanting closer games, less blowouts.

The 30 per cent stat surprised me too TBH.

I think we will finish between fourth and sixth.

I am never too concerned about what Joey says. I take more notice of what his brother says, even though I am not his greatest fan.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

My thinking is that the top teams try their best to control the tempo of the game which means giving away penalties. Slow things down & give away a penalty or 6 again & back your defense.

He could be right depends on injuries.
If the Chooks stay reasonably injury free they are in the top 5 for sure.

Defense wins games and the Buccaneers proved it yesterday. Last year our attack was sufficient to win the premiership, it was our defense that went missing for a 20-25 minute period in each playoff game against Panthers and Raisders and they out on 20+ points in those periods which we found hard to pull back.

Will Brady do a Cronk and go back to back with the new team ? To have won more super bowls than any other TEAM I’d effin remarkable

I hate to bring it up but it started a week before that when we were hammered 60-8 which ended our season.

I don't think any teams will take us lightly. We have developed a reputation as a strong club regardless of who is on the field.

I reckon we're way off this year.

Can't see us threatening at all.

It is a pretty weak competition. At full strength we are right in this.

I'm still waiting for the people who are writing us off to name the team's who are better on paper.

It's a very short list; perhaps a blank list.
