I wouldn’t bag him if he left at the end of this contract because other clubs were throwing more money at him and wanting him to play fullback. I don’t think that makes him disloyal or worthy of criticism. Enjoy him whilst he is with us he has been a loyal and great servant. Dont hate him because there are other teams that want him. He doesn’t deserve our vitriol he deserves our thanks. And he is still with us and may still be with us next contract as well - who knows.
Thats great an all but 1 thing THE ONLY THING !!!! Is that he's with us right now so why the talking shit about other opportunities rather than pass by the qustion an talk about how we ganna win 2021! Has lost my respect, i would be happy if we played a young kid in the centres over Manu for round 1, show the disloyalty is not part of the Roosters just like flanno mentioning being coached under his dad one day ! Later

There's no room for that shit here mean while Teddy and keary taking unders! If you dont bleed Roosters while being a rooster then piss off!

It’s 8 months until he can even talk to a club, 20 months until he’s off contract.

All this talk feels very early and based on nothing more than wishes and hopes. So much will change between now and when he signs his next contract, I doubt the Warriors would hold out and wait for a season for a fullback, there’s enough talent on the market in that position to get someone next year and if Manu decides he wants to leave because he wants to be a fullback then he’s going to leave nothing we can do unfortunately.

The Roosters juggernaut will roll on. I am a big fan of Joey tho.

All he did was answer honestly a question which has been floating around since RTS announced he’s leaving the Warriors. He has done nothing wrong, nor has he sought an early release using the old “ homesick “ excuse. He has served us as well as he could and if he wants to explore other options then it’s his right to do so, there’s no exclusivity on any player you hire to play for your team. I’d be sad if he leaves but as long as he does it in a respectable and professional manner then I wish him the best of luck, and as long as he wears the RWB he will have my support.

Nathing wrong????? WTF ! Manu is signed to us and on another note its not NOVEMBER 1st!!! Manu isnt 18 years old , manu is old enough to by pass the question as a professional player contracted to the Roosters to talk about the 2021 Roosters season ahead not to take the time to talk shit about opportunities! That convo is for Manu an his manager to talk about in NOVEMBER 1st as the NRL RULE STATES!! THOSE WORDS ARE FIGHTING WORDS IN MY EYES! Go if you wanna go but do it by the rules as a professional sportsman ! Lost alot of respect from me ! Love Roosters too much for media shit like this. Too many times player's use the media for financial gain , a loop whole from the November 1st rule

So he's going to the Storm & not the Warriors, I hope we get Justin Olam as a swap.

After putting a shot on gun centre Joey Manu, Suaalii said, perhaps only half-jokingly: “I’m going to take your spot.”
He’s the wunderkind you’ve heard about but never seen play. As he prepares to make an anticipated footy appearance on Saturday, just who is Joseph Suaalii?
                      ..it’ll be interesting to see
