  • The NFL Goat, Tom Brady's equivalent in the NRL

Cooper Cronk (and not Cam Smith as some noobs have written).

If we count the stripped titles:
    4 rings @ Storm
    2 rings @ Easts

    - Brought immediate success to new club after a long stint at original
    - Consumate professional both on and off the field
    - Incredible work ethic and microscopic attention to detail
    - Unsure about their abilities initially (Gronk played at centre by his coach; Brady drafted at 198 in sixth round - this was abject humiliation for a College footy player awaiting his chance at the big time in NFL)
    - Same names - Gronk & Gronk, the tight end who was Brady's go-to man
    - Both wore RWB...

Cronk went from 1 great organisation to another. Brady went from a great organisation to a pile of shit and achieved the same result.

Brady must go close to being the best sportsman on the planet, 20 odd years in the game with continued success, not sure who as achieved better results and influence.

along with Federer, probably my favourite sportsman.

Tom has the same birthday as me and SBW...we are all really really really good looking and good at everything.

Smith was the greatest for longevity and probably intelligence, but I cannot see him being the so called 'GOAT' of Australian rugby league. Bradman was the best cricketer and played nowhere near the greatest number of test matches. I would say someone like Messenger or Churchill would be.
                MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
