Never spent a day inside and kept around 500m in pay and bonuses he had made. Just depends who you know and what you may know about them.
Don't know about him getting bashed inside. I suspect a lot of his money went into Bing Lee shares as his daughter was to marry the son of Bing Lee. He still has plenty.

I think enough has been said towards the original starter of this thread so I'd appreciate it if you let him be. There is nothing to be gained by continuing to name call. For my part, like The Insider said, I was just really surprised that he took so little notice of what I had written originally and even what the SMH article said too. Attention to detail and fine print is paramount for a lawyer (I am an investigator for a bank so I need to possess the same skills) so I just assumed he's stop and take note of what I was saying. The little boy in question was indeed the child I spoke of earlier so if it weren't for the work of the Westmead Children's Hospital, Isaac wouldn't have had a son to go and watch play last Saturday. Stop and think how you would feel if that had been your child undergoing that 7 hour operation the second he was born, hence all the fundraising he does for them. Some of you on here have children that same age.
I'm really glad this thread didn't get deleted because at least I got to say goodbye to those who actually mean something to me on here and now I can see which ones I wasted my time and energy on also. Those I've never met before but who made constructive comments, thanks so much for your kind words. True colours shining through indeed.

Ok I'm off. Not because I was offended but just tired of it all.....be kind to one another because EVERYONE is going through something..GO EASTS!

dont go for good RWB, the footy is just around the corner, and hopefully that is 90% of the talk for the next 6 months or so. Take a little break, or just keep at the off topic chat for the next couple weeks.

be a shame if you left for good.

RWB, I can understand why you’d want to go as it can get tedious at times. Maybe just take a break and come back in a little while? It’s always nice to have you around and it won’t be the same without you here. Anyway, it’s your decision and I respect that.Take care and keep listening to music!

All I wanted was an answer and we got it eventually. Job done and no hard feelings from me.

Apologies that you feel this has been some sort of a battle for supremacy, I think you are misguided as this was never my intent (I'm truely very sorry that this blew outta proportion). All the best to you. Stay safe and look after those who are close to you. At Easts we're a family and I'm sure there's a lot of love on here for you...

              Good Morning ism22,

Thanks very much for your apology and yes, I will continue to look after those around me as I don't know how to live any other way.

Just remember 'my posse' is also the same group of people who have been here for you too. I've sat back over the years and watched the way people have attacked you on here and I find it to be pretty ordinary to be honest. One time in particular, someone told you to 'get back on your meds'. That was not ok by anyone's standards, I found it quite upsetting myself, so I've had your back on here without you even knowing it. Just consider me the Chookpen's guardian angel. Stay safe and healthy too and keep focused on what's good and positive about life, particularly being a Roosters fan during this era. We are lucky to be a part of it..

This place is like the Hotel California..you can check out but never really leave! I'll just let myself out now...Thanks again ism22..not many people know how to apologise properly..you've just set a good example for a few on here..

That should go without saying and I wouldn't be much of an auntie if I didn't speak up and say something now would I? I don't need to calm down as I am an empath so we are already calm, kind, respectful and sensitive to the needs of others, particularly when it comes to mental health issues. That makes me the person I am and what I am known for and why I have made so many friends from all walks of life from this forum - the fact that Easts binds us as fans is just pure and lovely luck.

For years on this forum we have all been subjected to really really long stories from this poster, mostly about his family and a lot of us on here have been nothing but kind, patient and supportive of his mental health battles. It's just a shame that he couldn't respond in kind to me and my family and maybe stop for a moment and think about how we are coping. It's only natural that I find this thread completely unnecessary as I am sure he would have if I had started the same about one of his children. I'll say farewell for good this time as I only came back on here last year due to lockdown boredom.

I will however bestow my own version of Life Membership to the following posters, seeing as Andy once called me the forum Matriarch. You won't be forgotten by me:

Thirteen - see you around the Heights/shops
Hawkeye - thanks for coming and supporting my small business when I had it even if you told me you were crap at gift shopping
Mighty Rooster - sorry I am leaving you with all these boys/men - Novice Chook will have your back I am sure as she is a smart and intelligent lady also - fellas be nice to the ladies
Zac - keep watching our shows
Rooster 1908 - he may have flown economy class but he sounds like a first class husband, Dad and father in law - honour to meet you sir
Mickie - you are an amazing human and I didn't comment on your own story about meeting Jack Gibson as I it made me cry too much - do me a favour and go down to Mancini's at Belfield and have a pizza for me, you and our mothers - and not that gluten free stuff either!
Paddo Colt - I hope your girl is doing better these days as I remembered she was unwell there for a while
Larry - same for your Dad - keep the faith
Miljana - thanks for all our foodie tips and chats - hope you and your lovely wife enjoy the season and that she finally gets her cap
Fur Coat - please give my love to your Mum and I'll say it again - she's more fun than you ever were
King Salvo - keep on punk rockin' (I'm going to watch the CBGB movie soon with Stana Katic and Taylor from the Foo Fighters playing Iggy)
Salvo Grubber - take care of yourself as I know you said you weren't feeling so great the last time we chatted - be well and happy

Andy & Horrie Hastings - you both know where to find me

A final word to the thread starter:

Treat people the way you would like to be treated. If you would like empathy for what you went through in your past, you need to learn to give it in return - that is how the circle of life works. And so does Karma...
Thanks for your kind words & I hope to continue to read your posts on here.
