Come to think of it, they're not criticising the NRL, once again the Bandanna's the target. His sin? Explaining the age restriction policy to readers who might be confused about it. The fcukin' hide of him!
The wing nuts that these guys folla (and they themselves) are not so much unconcerned about truth as seemingly unaware that such a thing exists.
One of the problems with leaving in Year 10 is that, thereafter, one tends to rely on those other poorly performed Year 10s at News Ltd or on the loudmouth at the barbie. I can think of far better targets to bag atm - Glad, the boyfriend and the inside info, Scummo who never seems to know much about anything (the old Johnny Howard line) and all of those other Libs who put political management before concern and sympathy for female employees.
The Bandanna man is not being critical of the Chooks. Quite the opposite.
Come on mods, ban this farking idiot. Furthermore, stop calling us uneducated right wingers you shit stain.

I was under the impression that if you were to talk political dribble in a roosters post you were to be banned . I have this goose blocked but would still recommend he has a spell

He should be more worried about the rabble of Australian Rugby. When Souths suggested they may apply for an exemption for Suaalii to play before he turned 18, not a peep from anyone. When the Roosters actually do, everyone has an opinion.

The NRL has indicated to the Roosters (and to your own team when you were trying to retain Suaalii) that the rule is flexible and exemptions can be sought on a case-by-case basis. This seems sensible to me, but not to Peter FitzSimons who believes in adopting a fundamentalist position on this matter. (Interestingly, for some reason he thought it would be OK for Suaalii to face the pressure of playing Olympics Rugby as a 17 year old.)

So yes, I and others were critical of Bandana (one "n" - I learned to spell before I completed Year 10) Man. We agree with the NRL's flexible stance. I'm surprised that you find that so objectionable and that you link it to some right wing conspiracy.

Maybe you should stick to defending the deplorable Sam Burgess.

Really? If so, I fully support this policy. This is not the place for talking about politics. That's what QAnon is for.

i think the can't play before 18 rule is a good one. that said, in order to stop joe going to rugby the nrl said they might waver it. many on here have been saying that he should bide his time and so he should.
still, if he passes the protocols and we think he's ready then fair enough

I thought we all received notice a few months ago about keeping political agendas in the off topic section or bans followed be full on ejections but if course at my age it could well be a dream

I recall Fitzsimons very publicly humiliated a 13yo girl a few years ago. Admittedly, what the girl said was wrong. The point is Fitzsimons is only concerned for the mental well-being of children when it suits his political agenda which in this instance is yet another attempt to put the boot into the NRL.

The single or the double "n" are both correct options. "Conspiracy"? You're putting words in my mouth. You Righties are Pavlovian at the mention of certain names - the Bandanna, Thunberg, Clover and Dewsbury for God's sake - just about anyone whose views don't coincide with the deranged ass lickers at Sky. What's in it for ya? Damned if I know, the Omnibus is already workin' on lowering ya wages.
Please note too, this is not a footy thread, it's a slaggin' off exercise.

Yep the girl was way past the Age of Reason and the product of some ass wipe bigot family who let her think racism is a good thing. If you read the article with the merest concentration it;s very clear that he is lauding the NRL. Don't make things up please, we get enough of that from the Daggy Dad.
