Souffs fans, as you know, have only that to gloat about and have been doing it all thru summer. If we would have done that to them at that time in the comp, and had still failed to make the GF, do you think we would have been holding onto that score throughout Summer? I don’t think so! We have bigger ambitions.

As as for the Politis remark, well it was to compare it with Crusty’s MO. He is the one driving this T-shirt thing. A little childisht I think but perhaps it’s just the strategy that suits their fans, both human and the 4 legged ones.

Who cares? The end result was the same... we both got bundled out during the finals.

We play for premierships. The rabble across the other side of Anzac Parade hangs onto some full hectic win they had over us in a nothing game.

I picture this other jersey... just a plain Easts jersey with #3 Suaalii on it. Then I look into a crystal ball and see that same dude winning a premierships. In the background somewhere, some freak wearing a '60-8' shirt is smuggling sausages in a thermos. Gotta take them wins, brother... nobody spotted them sausages!

Other options include... actually no... won't go there.

That’s not true Jack & I don’t know why you said that. Myself & PC never start threads on Souths but do post on a thread that has been started here on the pen by a Chookpen member with a different view than most & that’s cool in my eyes. The politics Im not into but you are, I’m just a footy fan who go’s for & loves the Roosters & loves watching them play all the other NRL teams hopefully winning but if they don’t that’s okay.

I agree with those saying this is good for our game - rustys playing the part of a south’s supporter very well another academy coming up for rusty posthumously for that one.

im glad we don’t stoop to that sort of crap though - we need to play our part they need to play theirs and t he rivalry remains - we love it.
