Unfortunately I think the vermin , they do look strong this year.Storm will as always be up there but the loss of Smith must hurt them surely

I’m tipping a souffs victory although I would laugh my head off if they get done by 20-30 points. If they can’t win tomorrow it’ll really put a question mark over their ability to win the title this year.

I'm hoping the Storm win by plenty - I want the Vermin to lose every match they play against all opposition.

It should be used as a motivational tool for us. Trent should put it up in the dressing room in letters 10 feet tall and gather the team around it and use his magic to get them go out there and return serve.

This worked for Freddy as mentioned in his book (pages 121/122 for those reading along at home with me ) Mike Gibson's Daily Telegraph column September 2001 "Personally I find something flaky about the Roosters. What they lack on a week to week basis is passion and commitment." There was a lot more blah blah blah about Armani suits and Ferraris etc. Freddy had this laminated, read it before taking the field in every game, handed it to Ricky Stuart at the beginning of 2002 who then distributed it to the team..Freddy never raised it with Mike personally as he didn't have to:
