We have lost 6 out of our last 8 R1 games including the last three.

Turbo in would have made me nervous.

We should win but I think it will be closer than what most think.

If injuries are kind to us I'd expect Cords, Rads, Verrills and Walker to be in the team by R25. Maybe even Suaalli. Noice.

It could be better but JWH and Butch will be solid. Fifita and Keighran could go either way.

Glad they changed the headline. I was gonna cut and paste how lame it was that Manly were listed as being 'wounded' given our bench. This has been updated to indicate they are 'shocked' that Walker is playing FB.

I dunno! Maybe I'm biased but on paper they should not trouble us. My only real worry is their spine really. Walker, Foran, DCE and L Croker. I reckon that (like many teams) they could upset us early on if they've got a stable spine while we're still finding ourselves.

The main problem for us is not Manly, it’s the 1st game of the season hoodoo. While the Storm create records for not losing a first game of a season, on the other hand we like to lose it even if we play against a reserve side, but it’s not all doom & gloom because history says that if we lose the first game, we have a great year whereas winning is bad news.

Makes sense to have either JWH or TKO on the field at all times, especially because Fafita is inexperienced. Suggestions that Lindsay has jumped ahead of JWH are ridiculous, this change just makes sense to have the experienced props rotate.

Quite a weakened side without Rad, Cords and Sam V. Let’s hope these 17 stay fit at least until we get some troops back cause there’s not a lot behind them. Next forward in line is Baker and he’s not an NRL class player yet.
