  • Radley sanctions

Just heard on SEN that Radley might be receiving a fine and a suspension for an incident at a party that happened last year sometime ! Anyone know what the story is?

Well that's pretty shit but seeing that he is still in recovery, it may not mean anything..but seeing that Latrell and Ado Carr received only a 1 match suspension (plus dollar fines) for breaking the law, would Radley get any worse than 1 match for a scuffle at a party that no one heard of?

If they intend to bring in suspensions for every scuffle an NRL player has (big or small) then expect to see half the comp out at various stages this year.

Footy players fighting is like a cow masticating.

Unless this is a very serious issue involving police and the courts why the fk is it even an issue?

He’d obviously been having beers beers and more beers. Maybe he went crazy after they ran out of his favourite.

If it was a Souths player you’d all be calling for his head even without knowing any facts. And rightly so!

I want to know how a "story" like this gets leaked to the media.

              It's spelt masturbating I think.

But, on the serious side, if he was defending a woman who was pushed...good on him!

Really hope it’s only a one week suspension. We could really use him against Souths.

hope they decide what they're doing sooner rather than later. hope they haven't delayed cos he's injured. it happened in december so they should have got it sorted by now. no reason why missing games through injury and suspension shouldn't be concurrent.

If we knew this was coming he should have been named this week

Problem is he wasn’t named for the 1st game so it won’t count

When is he actually due back?

I think it's a bit of a media beat up that they choose to release right before season kick off.

They have known about this for months so obviously it's nothing clear cut - footage would have been released if they had any. Roosters haven't made any statements either.

At worst I think a small fine and possibly a game suspension for hearing that Radley may have been in a public altercation and what actually happened is blurred.

The media is adding more weight to this than needed which may force the NRL's hand.

I believe round 4 but it was unclear - 'early rounds'
