Well he’s been suspended for 2 games and $20K fine. That’s over the top.

Maybe this will teach him a valuable lesson.
He just threw $20,000 cash into the garbage bin.
Roosters now have a "no-dickhead" policy according to many here in the Pen.
He's not very big, and big is king today, as seen by the current Premiers.
He's also injured, and yet to prove he's suffered no lasting injury.
If he keeps on his current path he might be inflicting himself on another club sooner rather than later.

I would have thought it would be games going forward that he could have been named for ie they could say he would have played the next two rounds so they count as the the two games - weird if it is backdated and counts for the game he wasn’t going to play anyway (unless he was meant to and this is why he wasn’t named). Hopefully the club clarifies so the chook own doesn’t go any crazier with speculation than we usually get

makes sense to me - a player's health should be irrelevant. if he's banned for 2 matches it should be from the time when the ban is given

It works like this if you play up at another club & you come on the market & are needed by the Chooks the line will be that the Roosters help those who have been a dickhead, if the Roosters don’t need that same player then the line will be we have a no dickhead policy. If a really good current player farks up at the Chooks the no dickhead policy is not mentioned.

Oh, only $10,000 cash has gone into the bin, the rest suspended for 12 months.
Byron Bay, near NYE, house party, maybe alcohol, tackled someone in the street.
If he's innocent, was saving someone from assault, good samaritan...then why isn't there a "trial"?
Why isn't he fighting it?
Why isn't the club fighting it?

I would believe them ahead of the FTAs.

But if someone is suspended during the year, and gets injured during the same game preventing theur selection for at least one week anyway...their suspension isn't deferred until they are fit to play.

That seems like an inconsistency to me unless Im missing something.
