        Bailey's not in the 30 i don't think

JWH could be missing though? seeing it though he should have no worries so will be in the 17 - meaning only 1 bench spot to be filled

In that case - 13 will be the same

Butcher and or Baker added to the bench

To their minds the liability involved with the duty of care looms large but, generally, the NRL is a ways behind Rugby and AFL on the issue. I see difficult concussion situations ahead for all teams especially since the new speed up rules and the fatigue factor that they entail will certainly lead to more injuries. Maybe a change to the 10m rule to balance things a bit more.
The kids love the high scores but at what cost?
Its true the faster the game the more high speed collisions. The game is getting responsible on one hand re how they handle the aftermath of any particular concussion however they are increasing the frequency of them with the continual pursuit of a faster and faster game.

Yeah Lussick was great during the trial. It's just a failed HIA and Jake will be back in round 3 for Souffs.

As expected Lussick has been pulled from the NSW Cup game today to make sure he is right to play in first grade next weekend.

                You've included Angus.
Maybe we'll roll the dice with the judiciary. We should, it was a nothing incident
But I doubt we will with Tigers this week and lol@souffs the week after.

Yeah, sure the concussions have been a problem for the last 2-3 seasons but there has been many unfortunate injuries suffered over the course of his whole career.

Don’t write Jake off just yet. He’s a tough little bugger. He’ll be back, probably not for a few weeks. I don’t think he’s ready to throw in the towel yet. In saying that, I do feel this will be his last season. It would be great if he could go out a winner with another premiership.

Don't fall for the media hype. They completely ignored all of Jake's head knocks last year. With Cords out of the way they need a way to keep the story going.

It’s a big worry in regards to Friend & Cords.
Friend & Cords 2 once in a lifetime players at the Roosters very much like C Smith & Slatter were to the Storm. What separates these 2 from the rest is their toughness which has probably been the catalyst to why we won B2B comps but it looks like it has come at a price.
We all know that Cords is out for 6 months but what about these words about Jake.

The Roosters are said to have “major concerns” for hooker and co-captain, Jake Friend, with reports he may have played his last NRL game.
The 31-year-old suffered his third concussion in six months after clashing heads with Sea Eagles forward, Andrew Davey in the Roosters’ win over Manly at the SCG on Saturday.
Instantly following the head clash, Friend dropped to the ground and some seriously concerning scenes followed as he convulsed on the field.
“He’s a three-time premiership winning dummy half, he plays as tough as any No.9 in the game and from bleeding on the lungs, to bicep issues, to elbow issues, to sternum issues, he’s had a variety of injuries.
"I think there are some genuine concerns.”

What a WARRIOR he is, like Cords but if they were my sons I would beg them to retire.

I think 'those words' come from that numbnut James Hooper to put into context.

But yes I would like to see both warriors call it a day, for their own good.
