There’s talk about Jake Friend spending some time away from the game with his latest head knock. Possibly hanging up the boots. They also mentioned he just became a father of a boy during the week which might affect his decision.

I guess our top players just instinctively jump out in front of buses? We're trained to take the hits rather than trying to milk penalties coz I dunno... when we push a defender away for crowding us while we're trying to play the ball, the ref will say 'right mate that's a penalty and you're on report too!!!'

Tedesco had two bad head knocks in 2020 - One in a game vs Parramatta 2020 when Sivo ran over the top of him and in SOO 3 2020 when Papalli kneed him in the head.- He missed games after both incidents although I don't remember how many.
