Again you don't get it , I'm all for what's best for the Roosters and at the moment that is Lam.If and when Walker comes in and is better then that's terrific but until then get behind the team , Lam and all

I think it is because Walker can only play in the halves, where as Hutch has more utility value with his size. He can be thrown into dummy half or back row.

yeah, if you played walker on the bench instead of hutch you'd struggle if a forward went down. it'd be a gamble, but what's the alternative? unless it's a direct swap of walker for lam in the 17, do you not play walker until one of the halves is ruled out before a game cos of injury?

As for getting behind ‘the team’ what do you think I’ve been doing all this time? And that’s a cheap shot! That doesn’t mean I don’t have an opinion. Nothing would be so satisfying than to see Lam kill it, but I haven’t seen anything that says it will happen. To accept that ‘he was ok’ isnt good enough when we have souffs, storm and other tough games ahead. We need 2 halves that can win the games, not just one and a fullback and centre out there trying to win it. Last year it was Flanagan copping it here because he didn’t run at the line. Why was it ok to bag him when his kicking was winning games? And one last one, when Manu took that bomb from Keary, Lam was next to him and just plodding along while Manu took the bomb and the only one he was able to pass it to was Lindsay. The commentary from both channels was that Collins should be 5/8 as a joke because of that and the previous assist...that’s telling!

If Lam has a blinder on Friday, it will shut a few, until the next game!!

i don't have a problem with bringing walker on slowly, letting him play v men in reserves for a few weeks. but robbo said he was close to playing on the weekend. maybe it's smoke and mirrors from robbo but if it isn't i'm trying to see how he fits in

It wasn't OK to bag Flanagan and to my knowledge I never did , as far as i'm concerned he was hard done by. But it does seem he wasn't a team player . The only player i have ever bag is that pommy no try scoring winger but hey I was in a bad place .The humor yes its tongue in cheek but take it for granted my love and passion of the Roosters isn't .
If we we loosing by 40 even against the lower teams or the team was struggling then I would agree there needs to be changes but were not so why risk Sam to early . Its just not necessary
And as far as Robbo is ready to pull the trigger on Walker I don't see it that way. Robbo will ease him in hopefully . A game or two before origin and then a pairing with Lam come Origin would be my guess
