Because from what you are saying we can't play Walker and Keary together.

I think we would be nursing keary through the season with resting an with origin looming! Teddy is great but keary is our most important player right now ! With the Jake scare around with head knocks an keary being in that situation not so long ago ,the theory is clear! Walker is a very safe cover in this situation! Lam is the key to free up the teams attack having our 2 best Teddy and kez taking control of our games

You cant have 2 dominant halves commanding the ball! Keary is our man and Lam is a better runner an defender than walker so makes clear sense that thats what Robbo is after post Flanno era lol!!

Agree that Walker is a 7.
When he's ready to step up I see him in that role, with Keary playing much like he did with Cronk in the team.

During the Manly game, Keary had seen the ball needed to go the width of the field to the right , but it died in the middle with Lam.
Two dominant halves would've kept that play going.

2018-2019 Cronk controlled the game with pin point kicks and keary ran more and tackled more! But now with kearys concussion history but still regarded one of the halves in the game,he now has the 7 roll and Lam is the run , link an connect an tackle guy! You just can't have two 7's

Without keary in the team we dont win this year! We are not going to bring Walker in which doesn't run into the line like a 6 would if Lam is already doing that! This is the first game relax

I don't think we are nursing Keary along. The club has made it quite clear that he has no ongoing issues.
But it still doesn't answer the question. At some point we will have Keary and Walker in the halves. I understand Walker is probably not ready for 80 minutes of NRL. But when he is I see it as an advantage playing one on one side of the field and one on the other. Plus not doubt they can combine on one side when the opportunity arises. Yes Walker has to improve his defence but I think many clubs have that issue with one of their halves. The Penrith 5/8 is a useless defender but Cleary won't drop him because he is a match winner in attack. We did ok last year with Flanno's weak defence which I don't think was that much of a burden in the end.

Lam only keeping the seat warm for Walker. Injuries will play a big part in selections. Lam needs to just play his own game and not be too much of a hog. He is still like a deer in headlights. When he picked up that loose ball against Manly, he didn't have the composure to link up with his fast men on the outside. He should have passed the ball early, instead had no idea that he was going to be tackled and lost the ball. Not good enough.

Walker was great in attack for the bears but very average defence, average defence in 2nd grade is like very poor in first grade!

Lam can tackle very good at first grade than walker but walker is a better number 7 which isn't great for walker when keary is our 7

So what you are saying is Walker will never partner Keary or will only play when Keary is rested/injured because we won't ever play two halves and because he can't tackle one-on-one?

I am sure he will bide his time in Norths until Keary retires. Hopefully he learns how to tackle one-on-one by then.

Have Walker come on for hooker i say!!! Give him time to adjust to the big boy game first with some hard earned time tackling but also utilising his kicking game out of dummy half like Cameron smith and that natural bullet pass he has! Till then Lam is 6

We are still forgetting about Radley!!!! With Rads the ball playing goes up a knotch or 2 or 1000!!!!
Not only will Teddy and Keary WANT THE BALL but Radley too , Radley played with Lam since 7 years old and when playing together is like Morris brother like!!!!!!!Radley said he can't wait to play with his bestie Lam!!!!
