Walkers kicking game is very good.

Lam only keeping the seat warm for Walker. Injuries will play a big part in selections. Lam needs to just play his own game and not be too much of a hog. He is still like a deer in headlights. When he picked up that loose ball against Manly, he didn't have the composure to link up with his fast men on the outside. He should have passed the ball early, instead had no idea that he was going to be tackled and lost the ball. Not good enough.

Point is- WALKER CAN'T TACKLE 1 ON 1 when Lam has proven he can for 80minutes at first grade!!!

Walker was great in attack for the bears but very average defence, average defence in 2nd grade is like very poor in first grade!

Lam can tackle very good at first grade than walker but walker is a better number 7 which isn't great for walker when keary is our 7

The only real reason I could see to bring in Walker is if we're losing games because of goal kicking. Lam will come along, give Robo time to work on his game.

What you and and a few others don't understand, is that the people who think Lam won't be in the halves long term most aren't bagging Lam, they just think that Sam Walker will be a better option in the halves, long term. I happen to be of that opinion too. I am also glad that the people in this thread who see things the same way, are those whose opinions I have rated highly here, for a long time. Those with the opposite view, not so much.

Once the club thinks Walker is physically ready for NRL, he will be wearing the 6 jumper. Not a knock on Lam but he isn’t in the same class. There is a good reason the club is lining up a long term deal for Walker and it isn’t to play for the Bears.
