But FMD are some people really writing off Lam after that one game? What are expecting exactly, Freddy reincarnate after 1 match?

How much of Walker have people actually seen? Bloke is talented as fk, but clearly Robbo backs Lam to get his specific job done very well indeed.

Walker will clearly get his chance in time, but im totally backing Lam at this stage too.

He's had more than one game throughout a few years. 12 according to the Roosters website and if my memory doesn't fail me, he really hasn't had an outstanding performance in any of them. Even Ikavalu has made more of an impact.

Anyway we have the Souffs game coming up in 2 weeks, lets hope he can do do something that makes him MOM, or close to it.

He was quiet against Manly but I would attribute that to most of the ball going to the right side of the field. If Robbo backs him, I’ll back him.

        We need depth, hence Lam.

I hoped by starting this thread that someone would tell me why they rate him, but I guess we will both be waiting for that.
All you did by starting this thread bagging an inexperienced player who is being given a chance in a critical position by the coach, is prove what an goose you are. You sprout about fans being entitled to an opinion, but really you have no clue what you are talking about.

Besides that, I fail to see what he brings to this team. I'll be very interested to see how Walker goes for the bears this arvo.
Have some faith mate, he’s playing second fiddle to the best half and fullback in the comp, what he needs atm is consistency playing at 5/8, yesterday when injury struck he seamlessly moved into dummy half and did a job for us, yes he got a little muddled ip in attack a couple times, so what, give him until at least round 10-12 to prove he is the right man for 5/8th moving forward.

New halves combination. Need time to gel. In saying that, I feel it’s just a matter of time until Walker slots into the 6 jumper. Lam will still have a spot in the team probably at 14. Walker is something special though and he’ll be pushing hard for a first grade spot.

You of all people calling me a goose?????? that's a classic.
Still haven't heard anyone telling me what Lam offers the team, apart from staying out of the way of the real players.

I feel like the criticism of Lam is really quite ridiculous. He played well and to call him slow is really just stupidity. I'm as excited about Walker as anyone but the season is long. Having Lam competing for a position in either the halves, dummy half or utility role can only be good for the team.

ask Trewhella if Lam has anything he is a fanboy with some insight .He got Flanafail right .Put the Lasso of truth on and tell us .
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Looked like he was running through a snowdrift.........................then he lost the ball!

Oh, and picking up a loose ball doesn't constitute making a break as you call it.

The butcher up here calls lamb forequarter chops "Tasmainian grillers".
