SKD proved that theory wrong many many times in his career!

I'd like to say that I hope Lam has a blinder this week, and in that case I'd have no problem in admitting I was wrong.
I guess this thread has become about whether it's acceptable to criticize players you don't think are up to the job.
Personally I thought that was one of the functions of the forum. (provided there's no irrational abuse)

I want what I think is best for the team.

      Go Easts.

      Amen to that Mr E!

Hog has to learn to be better than that.
Watched the replay again today, Lam did everything he could to position his support. Yes he had Morris loom up on his left, but Saab was between them and he could not get the ball to him. When Lam sees the cover coming across, he then turns to his right and begins to slow down to try and position Crichton, but he was then ambushed by Saab. I could not fault what he did as he had the ball in position to pass to Crichton, hence why it was knocked out of his hands when he hit ther ground

No use trying to convince the Statlers and Waldorfs they have it in for Lam end of story - Lam will get another pasting this week along with some others - I dare say though they wouldn't have the bollocks to say what they say on here about players face to face though .

Games in Syd will be on lakes this weekend anyway so everyone will be as slow as each other.

Of course not but I just don't understand why he is being singled out , I'm confident in the fact that a few others did the same thing be it in a try scoring position or not , but not a mention of them from anyone , as said Lam may well be our most experienced half this week with Luke maybe ruled out

SKD was both a fun and a frustrating player to watchThat being said, he played most of the 2013 GF with a broken jaw and won us the 2010 EF against the Tigers with his intercept. Those two moments alone make up for the silly errors.

He wasn't aware the defender was coming at him, as you say he was blindsided. I don't think the chaser was that quick, given Angus made plenty of ground to get into a position to support Lam.
