    • Honestly at the end of day walker will come into the halves and replace lam .... question is does he then go to our 14 role?

You have Jake off for a long time or maybe not coking back?

I can't but whats your point?

Lams doIng a specific role for the team at present 2 games in and has played his role in a team with 2 big wins to start.

Its conservative and he is feeling his way no doubt, but its not under 8s where everyone should shine and take turns.

If he gives champions like Teddy and Keary the space to play their footy, he's still playing a role.

He's strong positionally, always pushing up and on the ball and linking. You would have to assume thats what the Coach has asked of him so far. This part of the season its more important to get Luke playing the dominant half role and thats progressing brilliantly.

If you watched him progress through the lowers you would know he has plenty to offer in attack.

Fast step and feet, good short and longer kicking game...he just needs confidence to back himself more whilst not going against game plans. It will come with patience.

            TIT.

Completely agree, he is doing his job and will hold his place at the moment.

some of his first-up D contact in the second half was excellent. He certainly was putting in. He's no star, but if he tries hard, that's all we can ask.

                  • Look.... at the moment has some faults but has also his plus's ....Needs to be ther longer to work his combos and his game . Maybe the coach's focus is at Keary .Problem at the moment our best side is now a shambles in attack..the left .Poor old Toups has cost my son 2 multis in a row ...
Lets see what Robbo sees he is a better judge than me....or not .One thing for sure he offers more than Flanafail .

                    • interestingly robbo said walker didn't play only cos he wanted hutch as cover for freddy. seems like he doesn't see walker coming on into the halves and lam going to dummy half as an option.
maybe robbo feels like he doesn't want to show his hand but seems like when it happens it will be lam off walker on

                      • Thinking about it a bit more no one has mentioned the other twin ? is he a bit flat at the moment ? possibly carrying an injury? .Still we are a good side winning comfortably against teams we should be thrashing next week against the Vermin may show where we are at .On form chooks is much better and expect to win but lets see if they get piggy backed by the refs as usual.

Need Josh fit and firing later in the season. That was our problem last year, all the oldies ran out of puff.

Agree. Can’t have just all stars. Salary cap won’t allow that. He’s value for money.
