As for getting behind ‘the team’ what do you think I’ve been doing all this time? And that’s a cheap shot! That doesn’t mean I don’t have an opinion. Nothing would be so satisfying than to see Lam kill it, but I haven’t seen anything that says it will happen. To accept that ‘he was ok’ isnt good enough when we have souffs, storm and other tough games ahead. We need 2 halves that can win the games, not just one and a fullback and centre out there trying to win it. Last year it was Flanagan copping it here because he didn’t run at the line. Why was it ok to bag him when his kicking was winning games? And one last one, when Manu took that bomb from Keary, Lam was next to him and just plodding along while Manu took the bomb and the only one he was able to pass it to was Lindsay. The commentary from both channels was that Collins should be 5/8 as a joke because of that and the previous assist...that’s telling!
If Lam has a blinder on Friday, it will shut a few, until the next game!!
You seem to be worried about us beating the better teams with our current squad. Will you be satisfied if we beat Souths then? ...3/3 sounds pretty good.#We Stand with ourJewish community#

Is Lam good enough for a team in contention?
We've played two teams that aren't in the running..................and..............what's wrong with having two attacking weapons each side?
All I've gathered from the Lam supporters in this thread is that Robbo told him to keep out of the way!

Besides that, I fail to see what he brings to this team. I'll be very interested to see how Walker goes for the bears this arvo.
He doesn't have to star in a team like this. I think to judge him on 2 games is a bit harsh.Embrace the Hate! JC

As for me being worried about 'beating 'better teams'. Is there anyone here not worried about beating the big teams at the best of times? There are members here worried about playing anyone on game day. The reality is that every top team in the comp has halves that are fully involved in the game. They dont have one half being the dominant one while the other half is just hiding in the background waiting until the ball comes to him because they're not up to scratch. And I know what Robbo is doing and that is to give Lam a simple game plan because he doesn't want to overload him with responsibility, in other words, he doesn't trust him to be the player that we really need and that is a 5/8 that can turn games when needed, and I feel it for Lachie because he seems like a nice kid, but does that mean we can't discuss it? It's ridiculous and it's also selective because Flanagan wasn't protected this much, or even our 3 times grand final hero Toupo hasn't had this much support when people bag him.

Souths have got a much more experienced halves combination than what the Roosters have & they have the Australian No 9. I think tonight may come down to a goal kick conversions & Reynolds is the best in the business so I hope we are on song converting hopefully 4 pointers into 6 & hopefully Lammy has a great game.
