Saw that incident and thought he could be in a bit of trouble.

I looked at the supposed crushers...couldn't see any.
Only saw Manly players holding their necks.

With the single ref and the faster game pace, there’ll be more of this post game infringement analysis.
          ..it’ll be interesting to see

We seem to cop a random crusher tackle charge every second week.

            Total bullshit.

The review committee brings out the eagle eye when looking at our play.

What did Jake Friend do? I can’t even remember.

                When was it?

NRL website has it listed as 36th minute but looking back at it there’s nothing that happens in the 36th minute.

In the 35th minute Crichton is penalised for knocking over Walker off the ball but I can’t see any crushers.

                  Yeah what a farking joke!!!

What's Friend's 'contrary conduct' for anyway? We had the wood on them and IMO Paseka was being an absolute grub (I saw him kick a dude in the balls, do a ridiculously late hit on Keary and try to pick a fight with JWH).

IMO rather than telling us to stop heckling him when we've got the wood on Manly and a random fringe player's being a d!ck, they shoulda told him to stop messing around with the big boys.

Reminds me of my netball comp. There's always a big girl on the other team who goes nuts, is playing super rough on me (shoves/niggles all over the place) then they'll start crying when I use my speed to shut them outta the game (I'm pretty quiet + gentle until they turn it up and start getting all physical with me... then I just sit behind them and use my speed/reach to intercept all passes to them, while they go feral about it). One ~19 y/o girl who was like 6'2 ran into me from behind, tried pushing me in the back, scratched me, KO'd herself in the process and was screeching 'OMG!!! SEND HIM OFF!!! STOP BEING SO ROUGH WITH ME!!!'). I was like 'yo... I'm more than twice your age... how about YOU be gentle with ME!!!'

Lesson for refs - this was not mixed netball! JWH is allowed to push a guy away when he's crowding the play the ball. Friend's allowed to ask questions. If a team's getting belted, you don't have to feel sorry for them and try to help them back into the contest! Manly had top-shelf players out there last night and an experienced coach. They really didn't need a helping hand...

Maybe best to take the week unless they have evidence to the contrary - haven't seen the video of it but these are hard to overturn at the judiciary as they want to crack down on these.

Interestingly they don't crack down on players being put in a head lock by the defenders though - not sure if anyone has had a crusher charge dismissed at the judiciary either?

Contrary conduct for JWH and Friend - what did Friend do - try to tackle a Manly player with his head ?

                      “Contrary Conduct” – means misconduct on the part of a Player constituted by behaving in a way that is contrary to the true spirit of the Game;

An early guilty plea will result in a one-week ban while an unsuccessful trip to the judiciary will see him miss two games.
